Introducing Our Interim Headteacher for September 2025

We are delighted to announce that the Trustees of OWN Trust have appointed Mrs Lamond as the interim headteacher of Woodston Primary School from September.
Mrs Lamond brings a wealth of experience, having held headship and executive leadership roles in several schools, including within Peterborough. She is a highly accomplished leader who will provide stability and continuity for Woodston during the next academic year.
In the coming weeks, Mrs Lamond will be visiting the school regularly to meet staff and pupils, and she will be arranging an opportunity for parents and carers to meet her soon.
We are pleased with the very strong progress Woodston Primary School has made this year. Trustees and governors expect this to be reflected in rising academic standards in this year’s results. Mrs Lamond will build on this success and continue to drive further improvement in the year ahead.
