Thank you very much to everyone who supported our Macmillan Coffee morning. We received lots of donations of cakes, many of which were home-made and were absolutely delicious. The staff spent the afternoon trying to locate one parent who'd made an amazing honey cake so that we could get the recipe, only to discover it was only the second cake she had ever made - obviously naturally talented and now in great demand!

The School Council did a fabulous job of welcoming and serving our guests and were rewarded with some cake for their efforts. We were really proud of how beautifully they spoke to all of our visitors and conducted themselves. At the end of the day we sold any remaining cakes on the playground and were absolutely delighted to raise £300 overall. A huge well done to everyone who supported and got involved.
