Celebrations on Roald Dahl day were a great hit this year! We had a fantastic time throughout the school commemorating the well-known children’s author. Throughout the day, children took part in lots of different activities inspired from his renowned books, including inventing their own sweets, creating artwork inspired by his famous books and even rewriting parts of his stories. Children also enjoyed listening to many different stories, including The Twits, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Enormous Crocodile and James and the Giant Peach to name just a few. It was a pleasure to welcome many parents in during the afternoon to continue our celebrations. Parents relished the opportunity to work alongside their children and take part in different activities. A massive thank you to all those who attended.
