Proud winners of Education Awards

Woodston Pupils win awards at the annual Peterborough City Education Awards

We were very proud to be represented by Josiah and Logan at the annual Peterborough City Education Awards on Thursday 12th October at Jack Hunt School. The awards, organised by the Muslim Council of Peterborough, are in their 6th year and are attended by twenty-one Schools, Colleges and Madrasahs from across the city. Josiah won an award for his exceptional academic progress and attainment, and Logan won an award for his charity and community work. Their awards were presented by the CEO of Peterborough City Council, Mr Matt Gladstone and even though the children were very nervous, they went onto the stage and collected their awards in style, giving Mr Gladstone a lovely smile and a handshake! A lovely meal provided by Jack Hunt school was enjoyed afterwards, and we are all very proud of these amazing young men.
