Year 1 had a fantastic time when Zoo Lab came to school. The children were very excited about meeting some fascinating animals! A cockroach scuttled across the floor of the gym, children stroked a rat and some held a corn snake! But the favourite guest was a large green gecko who liked to crawl up arms! They learnt lots about Charles Darwin and evolution as well as some interesting facts about the animals. Did you know that spiders have 8 eyes but they are actually blind?
