Froglife!

We attended an event organised by the trainee wardens at Froglife. They are a charity that supports the protection of all British amphibians and reptiles and their habitats.

This event included Christmas card and decoration making.

The children also learned about the work Froglife does and asked lots of excellent questions, especially about snakes and if there were any at the reserve. They also coloured in pictures of Toads, frogs and even Great Crested Newts.

We also took a walk around the Boardwalks nature reserve. Even though it was quite muddy, the children really enjoyed the outdoor experience.

They saw swans, geese and even a heron,

8 children took part in the event and seemed to really enjoy it and learnt a few new things about wildlife.

Many thanks to the Froglife trainee wardens who put together this event.
