What a wonderful day the Reception children had at Sacrewell Farm this week! We travelled by coach to the farm, entertaining the bus driver with the ‘Wheels on the Bus’ song and “Old Macdonald had a Farm’!  Once the children had put on their waterproof suits and wellies, we set off on a tractor ride, visited the lambs, fed some sheep and then after lunch we had time to play in the fabulous outdoor play area!  Finally the children took off their muddy wellies and suits and climbed back onto the coach to return to school.  The return trip was quieter as they were so tired!  As one child said, it really was “The best day ever!”
